A really beautiful brooch or pin with a large maple leaf.  It is not stamped or marked in anyway way but the leaf and pin are in really good shiny condition.  There is a small mark on the back which I am sure could be buffed off. 

The pin is 7cm long.  The leaf itself measures approx 3cm x 3cm.  The rod is approx 3mm wide.  It has an organic feel to it, making me think it was handmade for a loved one.
