This is a beautiful art deco 1920's sterling silver marcasite brooch in a rectangular shape.

There are no markings but it has been tested as sterling silver.

It is in excellent condition.  This piece was custom made for somebody with the initials HPJ as shown in the centrepiece (which can be removed as it has been clamped on).  But I believe the initials are very hard to recognised and that it actually looks like a pattern rather than letters.

All the stunning marcasite stones are intact and present.  The piece weighs approx 15 grams.  It measures approx 5cm x 4cm at the widest point.

The pattern and detailing on this brooch is exquisite.

The pin and rollover clasp are intact and in full working condition.
