This wonderful coin bracelet is a tribute to the Imperial currency system of England and her affiliated nations prior to the introduction of the metric system.
The bracelet is comprised of 2 Australian three pence (1943 and 1951), 3 English six pence (1950, 1954 and 1955), 5 cents from Malaya and British Borneo, and 3d from New Zealand (1952).
There is also a collection of pretty trinkets – a vintage silver medallion inscribed “BH” and 1965, a vintage chandelier crystal and a vintage rhinestone drop.
The wrist measurement of the bracelet is 18cm (7 inches). I have also added an extension chain which provides another 3cm (approx. 1 inch) if needed.
Such a lovely reminder of the coins our Commonwealth forefathers used (and a truly unique and interesting charm bracelet!).
