After having our son I decided to start up a home business so that I didn't have to go back out into the corporate world. I love jewellery and over the years I have collected quite a few pieces, as well as inheriting some from family and friends who have asked me to sell their pieces for them on consignment.
I am not an expert on jewellery by any means but I do have a very good eye for quality pieces and I did work in an estate and antique jewellery store for a number of years. For unusual pieces I have done as much research I can on them so I can give you as much information about the item that is available.
The idea of collecting preloved, estate or antique jewellery is very exciting as the items have such a history and I always wonder who wore them and where they wore them and how old each item is. To wear a piece of history, and often a unique piece of history, always seems to attract people's attention.
